What time can we check in and check out?

You can check in at 14:00 and will be required to check out at 11:00.

What amenities are available in your bedrooms?

All of our rooms offer with a work desk, lamp, high-speed Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities, an ensuite bathroom and a flat-screen TV.

What can you do in the local area?

Are you DDA compliant?

Yes, our venue provides:

  • Elevators in each building
  • Ramps across our site
  • Disabled car parking bays close to buildings
  • Accessible bedrooms that have full wet rooms or are partially adapted
  • Disabled toilets across the venue
  • Wheelchair accessible corridors
  • Automatic doors across the site, although not all
  • Hearing loops are available in G06, G07 and G38
Do you have accessible bedrooms?

We have 8 accessible bedrooms available at Kents Hill Park, 3 have wet rooms and 5 have partially adapted bathrooms.

Are you pet friendly?

Unfortunately, we are not pet-friendly.

Food & Drink

How can I pay for food, drink etc. at your venue?

As part of our efforts to deliver more efficient services for our customers, we are a cashless venue. We can accept payment via card only for all onsite charges including food and beverages. All major credit & debit cards will be accepted.

What time is dinner served?

19:00- 21:00

What time is lunch served?

12:00 – 13:50

What time is breakfast served?

07:00 – 09:00

Does your menu include Gluten Free options?

Yes, many of our recipes are Gluten Free, marked with a GF. We also have a number of dishes that are marked as GFA which means they can be made Gluten Free on request.

Where do I find your food menu?

Our catering facilities are buffet-style with a mixture of self-serve and servers, plus a salad bar, desserts and drinks. When enquiring about your meeting, conference or training event, please request to view our menu.

How can I cancel my table?

To cancel your reservation please contact us. 

Is there a dress code for your catering facilities?

No, we do not ask for a specific dress code.

What type of food do you offer?

Our catering facilities offer traditional British cuisine made up of seasonally inspired menus with a selection of high-quality dishes using the best local produce where possible. Our menu changes regularly, please contact us to request our menu.

Can I host a function in your restaurant?

Our catering facilities at Kents Hill Park offer buffet-style dining for all of our residential conference and training delegates, however, we have a number of private dining rooms to hire, with our largest Suite seating up to 320 guests. Perfect for a range of events, including corporate gala dinner events. Book a private dining room here.

Do you have a restaurant?

We have catering facilities that offer buffet food, a salad bar and a dessert bar for meeting and conferencing delegates, for breakfast, lunch and dinner depending on your meeting package.

Hotel guests can enjoy our catering facilities at breakfast, please speak to our team when checking in for local restaurant recommendations.

All guests can enjoy our comfortable bar and lounge area in the evenings.

Do you offer any team-building activities?

Our partnership with Off Limits® delivers an extensive range of activities, team-building exercises, evening entertainment and bespoke events with our 13 acres of stunning grounds to take advantage of. Book your team-building activity here.

What AV/Tech is available?

We offer LCD projectors and screens with free Wi-Fi included.

We also have a PA and microphone system available for an additional cost.

Do you provide dedicated technical support?

No, we have an on-site Conference Operations team who can assist with in-room AV set up but if a dedicated AV technician is required, an external AV company would need to be sourced.

Do you offer a corporate retreat package?

We do not supply a corporate retreat package, yet we do offer catering, accommodation and team-building activities for your corporate event.

Can you cater for my corporate event?

Catering can be provided in breaks to make sure that you are all functioning properly and we can also arrange buffets and multiple-course meals for your business event.

Do your training rooms come with technology?

Our training rooms are fully equipped with the technology you will need to run a successful event. Included within our training facilities Wi-Fi, projectors, screens, blackout options, AV technology and HDMI ports.

What meeting room sizes do you have available?

We have a wide variety of catering options available for your association event or weekend including:

  • Buffets
  • Themed Meals
  • BBQs
  • Private Dining options are also available

Christmas

I have a food allergy; do I need to tell you?

That’s not a problem, please inform us when you make your booking and menu choices six weeks prior to your party date. We have full allergen information, should you wish to see this.

Is there car parking onsite?

There are plenty of free spaces to park your car.

Is there accommodation available?

We have a selection of bedrooms available. Please contact us for rates and availability.

Is there a bar on the night?

A bar will be available. We are a cashless venue, so please remember to bring your debit or credit card.

Are your Christmas parties sustainable?

We’ve made a commitment to reach Net Zero by 2030. All our parties will offer sustainable menus using British, ethically sourced ingredients wherever possible, including Red Tractor Assured Turkey. To minimise waste, we’ve switched from traditional crackers to a digital e-cracker prize draw.

Can we do a table plan for our party?

Yes, of course. Feel free to bring name cards to put on the table so everyone knows where to sit.

Is there an age restriction?

Guests must be 18 years old or older.

Can we add people to our party?

Yes, of course, the more the merrier as long as we aren’t at capacity. Please contact us to amend your booking.

I’ve pre ordered a drinks package; how do I get it on the night?

These will be available on your table when you arrive. A bar is also available should you require further drinks throughout the evening.

What is the deposit and when do I have to pay it in full by?

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required when booking and the full balance is payable six weeks prior to your party date by BACS or alternatively, we can accept debit or credit card.
